Caught in the Crossfire
Caught in the Crossfire is an exhibition organised by the Control Arms campaign featuring images taken by some of the world’s best-known conflict photographers. The exhibition is being held simultaneously in major cities around the world throughout October. During this time world leaders will meet at the UN General Assembly in New York to decide whether to put in place tougher controls on the global arms trade.
Statistics show that one thousand people are killed every day as a result of armed violence. There are enough bullets in circulation around the world to shoot every person at least twice.
Contributing photographers:
Andrew Testa, Guy Tillim, Howard Davies, Zed Nelson, Teun Voeten, Alixandra Fazzina, Severino Silva, Vidal Cavalcante, Fabio Motta, Ami Vitale, Prahant Panjiar, Nadine Hutton, Debbie Yazbek, Jenny Matthews, George Esiri, Lori Waselchuk, Andy Hall, Tom Pilston.
